About Us

Cross & Crown Lutheran is committed to sharing God’s love and promise of salvation through caring, healing, rejoicing, inviting, serving and teaching.

History

Our first Steering Committee met January 14, 1980. That September, worship services began in Ledgewood School, just across the athletic field from our current site. In January of 1981, music filled the air as the choir held its first practice. We purchased the land in late 1981 with a ground-breaking held in August 1982. We had so much to be thankful for in 1982 and celebrated Thanksgiving in our nearly completed building. The building was completed and dedicated in February 1983.

In 1997, the church was bustling and we began expanding our building to accommodate our ever-growing number of members. The spring of 1998 brought a larger nursery, new offices, nine classrooms, and a remodeled worship area. The Cross and Crown Preschool opened successfully in September 1998.

As we continue to grow and change, we are considering plans to grow our church home to better serve our programs, fellowship, and worship needs. Join the conversation.
